Ezra is growing up so much!

Just we few weeks ago Ezra turned 1 years old! That year went so fast! The amount of growing Ezra did is so crazy! He now walks everywhere and will walk with me while holding my hand. Ezra is now trying to talk more, he tries using real words now! It sounds like he is truly trying to pronounce words more and less babble. Ezra said Mama first and when we finally got him to say daddy he stopped saying mama unless he was pretty mad at me. He loves saying ” Hey Dad” when Josiah is on the phone with me. He has started nodding yes and no and he will say yes to us. Sometimes when he says yes to us when we ask him a question it seems like he really does know what yes means but I’m still a little skeptical.
When I call Ezra’s name to get his attention he knows it and will usually come to see what I was calling him for, when he doesn’t come it’s usually because he is being mischievous. He knows now when he is in trouble for something and has a few little things he does when he things he is in trouble. He will throw the evidence when he has something he knows he should have, so say he has the tv remote and I have already told him not to touch it. When I confront him on it he will turn around and throw it behind him as he runs. It is a over the head throw too, it is terribly funny to see and I have to hold back my laughter when he does it because it is kind of cute to see, but I still get after him for doing it because it’s not a good habit to do. He also throws a fit when he isn’t in trouble. Sometimes when he gets a book or something I want him to be careful with I will tell him to come to me so I can talk to him but he always thinks that he is in trouble so he will start to cry and I’m always like, ” Yo Ez you aren’t in trouble, I’m just wanting to talk.” as I remember as a kid I was the same way. I hated the thought of being in trouble so much that just the mention of anything would have me in a panic, although Ezra has Josiah’s side too and gets into a lot of stuff he knows he isn’t supposed to have.
Ezra now that he is a year old is much more playful, he will play with most dogs he meets and loves playing with Josiah and I. That has been really fun, it is so fun to see him grow up. I pray that we will be able to raise him to be a great man of God.
